With ten maps, thirty vehicles, and all previously released DLC, Spintires: MudRunner-American Wilds has plenty to dig your teeth-or tires-into. When you have to overcome a certain route several times it can go from easy cruising to hardcore winching depending on how much you've torn up the landscape. With the mud deformity you have to watch how you go through a section not only to survive the way there, but to not kill the hill so as to where you can't get back. Load it up and you can watch your load shift depending on how you take a hill.

Attaching a trailer, you can see the side panels wobble around when empty. It's not often you get a major company like Ford to allow their vehicles to look not-so-pristine in a video game. I think some of my favorite parts of the game are the real-world vehicles. MudRunner is unforgiving, and feels as if it would draw the Farming Simulator crowd on how much it focuses on real-world scenarios. Sometimes the only reset available to you is way back at base, killing half the work you just did. I pinned myself in a triangle several times just trying to back out of a corner I got stuck in, and had a few instances where I attempted a hill I couldn't get up only to find I couldn't go back down where I was either. I've never realized just how bad I am at backing up a trailer until I played this game. Spintires: Mudrunner will be available on the Xbox One, PS4 and PC on the 31st October. The danger, and the physics, are real. There has been huge improvements to the physics engine in Mudrunner compared to the original Spintires game released back in 2014 and players will find realistic water and mud physics, a vastly improved soft-body tire simulation and more realistic interactions between the vehicles and the environment.

The game’s 6 maps can be attempted alone or with up to 3 friends where everyone will be challenged to drive through thick mud, raging rivers, slippery rocks and over mountainous roads. Driving skills will be thoroughly tested as the numerous missions and challenges will take players through hazardous environments including treacherous mountain paths during both day and night time. Players will be able to experience a vastly improved physics system and 6 near photo-realistic sandbox maps. Spintires: Mudrunner reinvents the driving genre and puts players in the driving seat of some of the most powerful off road vehicles and challenges them to overcome some of the most extreme environments. With Spintires: Mudrunner due for release on the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC at the end of this month Focus Home Interactive and Saber Interactive have released a new gameplay trailer showcasing some of the most rugged off road vehicles and extreme environments gamers will experience.
